Great place for a picnic or walk the Bernera trail and take a look at the iron age house
Another superb island beach that can be found off Great Bernera. Great for playing in the sands. No onsite toilets but you can stop at the community cafe enroute and if you have children then a stop at the local swing park is worthwhile.
Perhaps the best beach on Lewis. There is also a replica Iron Age house next to the beach which gives visitors a sense of the history this part of the island, and of the Iron Age village which once stood on this site. Given its remote location on Great Bernera, a visit to Bosta beach is probably…
The most beautiful beach in the whole world. Not that we are biased. And it's only 2 minutes around the corner! Don't miss the iconic Iron Age House experience and the Time and Tide bell art installation on the rocks.
One of my favourites. Beatiful sandy beach lovely colour sea, tropical lookig Quiet. Close to Bosta round house historical site
