Tips from locals
hard to find, small bar. great spot that's not loud. located couple blocks off bourbon. has Absinthe.
Pirate's Alley is a must hit when visiting New Orleans. We usually visit during the day time and sit in the window with a great bloody mary (ideal during a rainy day in the south), but it's also very lively at night - and workers dress up as pirates!
Absinthe!! They open around noon till late. Lots of neighborhood folks with a chill vibe
Tiny hole in the wall. If you want the traditional absinthe experience go here, they light it on fire with the sugar cube and everything!
