This historic Highway rolls through gorgeous country side that goes along the Columbia river gorge. It will take you straight to points of interest like the Vista House and Multnomah falls.
This is a great drive. Tons of waterfalls and views of the Columbia river. Drive out along this route and end up at Multnomah Falls and/or the Cascade Locks to see the Bonneville Dam and Herman the Sturgeon (huge ancient sturgeon they keep at the locks in ponds).
This highways was built during the Depression as a public works project, and it is just gorgeous. Drive through the beautiful Oregon woods and admire the plentiful waterfalls. La Tourelle & Bridal Veil are worth getting out of the car for.
this paved trail has a trailhead under the Bridge of the Gods and is a trail I enjoy almost daily in the summer. If you're coming to Cascade Locks spend some time walking along it, you won't regret it.
