Roberta’s literally put Bushwick on the map: before Roberta’s very few people were venturing out to this corner of Brooklyn. Opened in 2008, Roberta’s still has the best pizza around. They don’t take reservations and you should be prepared to wait. Our favorite item on the menu is the Bee Sting Pizza, featuring spicy soppressata with a drizzle of honey.
Tips from locals
This is one of the most famous restaurants in NYC now. Their pizzas are divine. Slightly pricey, but full of Brooklyn locals and hipsters.
One of the coolest places you could eat during your trip. The pizzas are a must have but they also have amazing regular dishes. In one spot you can be either informal or high fare dining or both at the same time. There is a restaurant section and a takeout bar section. They also have a secret…
A Bushwick institution. It doesn't take reservations and usually has a long wait but you can also get takeout pizza and eat at the picnic tables
Best pizza this side of the river (Brooklyn) Seriously it’s great. The wait can be long, they do have a separate slice outpost if you’re in a hurry.
Pizza is delicious, laid back, comfortable environment. They don’t take reservations.
People all the way from Manhattan would come and eat here. I met once Emilia Clarke at this pizzeria.
Skip the restaurant and get your food much quicker here--just as delicious without the wait. Also delivers.
