Tips from locals
Great food (caprese and risotto are "must try"). Otherwise the torta fritta and the meat options are the other local star dishes. Always full (good food, inexpensive), so a reservation is in order.
Molto caratteristico , ottime porzioni , cucina tradizionale , adatto a famiglie.

“The largest labyrinth in existence, it is entirely made of bamboo plants (numbering around 200 thousand in total) between 30 centimetres and 15 metres in height, and belonging to many species. It is a maze for losing oneself in, for fantasising and reflecting”

“Designed by Benedetto Antelami, and built between 1196 and 1216, the Baptistery of Parma is one of the most important monuments of the transition from Romanesque to early Gothic architecture. The octagonal structure, in pink Verona marble, includes four tiers of open loggias with architraved portals. The cupola of the Baptistery was frescoed in the third decade of the 13th century by craftsmen from the Po river region, influenced by Byzantine iconographic models.”
