Historically part of the Bas Berry, Boussac has always been a territory of confluence notably between the Auvergne, the Limousin and the Berry through its weekly markets. The Jean de Brosse Château is one of the major elements of local heritage. Guided tours, but also discovery walks around the fortress, allow visitors to discover, among other things, old Boussac thanks to its pedestrianised circuit. Walking trails leaving from Boussac (for walkers and mountain bikers) allow you to discover an unspoilt nature and an astonishing small-scale heritage
