Tips from locals
This summer the Bistro have been offering a 3 course menu with a cocktail for just £23 per person. My husband and I enjoyed a table at the window looking over St. Andrews Square and across to the Castle. The sun was setting so it was a stunning location and the food was delicious.
4 MILES AWAY - if you’re looking for afternoon tea, cocktails or something more substantial, with great rooftop views of the capital, then this is the place for you!
Great restaurant with views of Edinburgh Castle and over to Fife. Best suited for individuals, couples or groups of friends. Less suitable for families.

“Talking of bars with a view: Juniper on Princes Street also offers a fantasic vista of the city, taking in the mighty Scott Monument and beautiful Balmoral Hotel. Supping a cocktail while watching the Edinburgh shoppers go by is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the capital. If you really want to try something really special, try one of their cocktails served with dry ice for a real Instagrammable treat. The 'Strawberries and Steam' sharing cocktail is particularly worth a try. ”
