“Wonderful place to sit and drink a cappuccino or a glass of wine and look out at the sea. The town often puts on concerts and performances that include traditional dances & performances on the outdoor square.”

Piran's main attraction. Great for a morning stroll. Maybe grab some fresh fish directly off the boat in the marina.

Giuseppe Tartini was born in Piran on 8th April 1692. His father, Gian Antonio, was a native of Florence and probably came to Piran for trading. The place where Tartini Square is located today, was once a harbour for fishing boats of Piran :)
