Tips from locals
The Rembrandtpark is a nice place to walk or relax. The city park is located in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. There are lawns, ponds, playgrounds and children's farm 'de Uylenburg', the oldest in Amsterdam.
Rembrandtpark is a quiet open park, a great place to catch a quiet nap on the grass and just around the corner!
Not the same as the Vondelpark, but besides drinks, you are also allowed to barbecue here. Perfect for summer evenings! You can buy dispensable barbecues at Albert Heijn!
