Like to explore what else Tuscany have to offer: Bagni di Lucca - 30 mins drive (25 km), is especially famous for its hot springs known since Etruscan and Roman times (as the name suggests, Bagni di Lucca means Baths of Lucca). Lucca - 50 mins drive (48 km), this walled medieval town is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Tuscany. A walk through the historic old town reveals many beautiful attractions, picturesque alleys and charming squares. The landmarks here are Torre Guinigi, the famous tower with the trees on top and the imposing 4 km long city wall, one of the best preserved in Europe. If you love pizza, you'll find one of the best pizzas in Lucca at Felice Ristorante Felice. Felice is located 5 mins (by car) outside the walls of Lucca. They have an optional separate Gluten free kitchen and oven plus a Vegan menu. Pisa - 70 mins drive (63 km.), the place of the famous landmark of the leaning tower of Pisa. Florence - 1 hour 50 mins drive (129 km.)... the city of the lily is a treasure trove of artistic treasures. Volterra - 2 hour 10 mins drive (114 km). A as an Etruscan and medieval art centre, Volterra has the remains of Etruscan walls enlarged in the 4th and 3rd centuries bc, two Etruscan-Roman gateways, and circular tombs from the 6th century bc with vaults of concentric rings supported by a central pillar. Siena - 2 hour 20 mins drive (190 km), is one of the most famous Italian cities and a place many tourist aims to visit during a trip to Tuscany. It is famous for its Palio that takes place twice a year and for its characteristic narrow streets flanked by brick buildings.

It can be crowded in summer season but we think it’s worth the effort.

Cinque Terre is a must see! You can get there by car or bus/train in under 1hr from Casa Mori. Quintissential Italian seaside village on the cliffs. You can hike between the 5 villages. Make sure you research or ask us about which hike to take. Some routes are casual and others are a bit more extreme with elevation change. Bring your hiking shoes!! After the hike it is Negroni time!
