“Great day out, grab an early ferry from Orzola and don’t miss the last one home!! Avoid if the weather is bad as boat trip can get pretty wild. Worth renting a bike and heading to yellow mountain or one of the north beaches ”

“I first visited here during a holiday and have taken plenty of guests since. It is remarkable how Cesar Manrique managed to turn these beautiful inassessable works of nature into a remarkable and safe place for all to visit.”

Natural Feature
“As you tuen off the main road towards Montaña Fuego you will see the Camels on the left, it is a good experience and supports the local economy to partake in a ride on one of them. The road then takes you to the car park for your trip around the Lunar Route, be sure to have your phone or camera at the ready. Then there is the demonstrations, the restaurant and the shop.”

Surf Spot
“Famara was recently voted one of the five best beaches of Spain. The beach is especially well-suited for surfing. I learned how to surf here a few years ago and there are a lots of surf schools here (if you're in Playa Blanca, try "Kaboti" - they are great people and teachers and they take you from Playa Blanca in the morning and bring you back in the afternoon). I would only come here for swimming if there are no clouds, otherwise it gets quite cold. Also, be aware of the strong currents.”

“Cueva de los Verdes, a natural cave several kilometers long, impressive being in the bowels of the island, here also lays "The Secret of Lanzarote"”
