Tips from locals
One of the great things about Ljubljana is the fact that you can shop the old-fashioned way: strolling the streets in the city centre, ducking in and out of any number of high street stores, local brands and cute little boutiques. The main shopping streets in the city centre are Mestni and Stari…
At night, Pritličje comes alive as a club hosting DJ nights and concerts of urban electronic music, while during the day, coffee, tea, and meals are served in its café space.

“Famous triple bridge ("Tromostovje"), designed by the architect Jože Plečnik. The central of the three bridges forming the Triple Bridge has stood in its place since 1842, when it replaced an old, strategically important medieval wooden bridge connecting the north-western European lands with south-eastern Europe and the Balkans. Between 1929 and 1932, the side bridges (for pedestrians), were added to the original stone bridge as designed by the architect Jože Plečnik. Plečnik furnished all the three bridges with massive stone balustrades and lamps. In 1992, the Triple Bridge was thoroughly renovated.”
