Now this is a day trip no doubt you’ve already heard about and it may be at the top of your list! What makes this place unique is being an island off an island; take the ferry from Kettering over the Bruny Island. Spend the day exploring from top to bottom or perhaps you’d prefer to head to Adventure Bay or Denn’s Point for a swim. Bruny Island cheese offers bespoke cheeses and good coffee.

Bruny Island is a great day trip. It’s about a 40 minute drive from Bramley Hollow to the ferry in Kettering which runs at 20 minute intervals for the short crossing - there can be a bit of a wait in the Summer but there is a cafe and information centre on the Kettering side if you have to wait. On Bruny, visit Get Shucked for Oysters, Bruny Island Cheese and a stop at The Neck is a must for a photo. We love Cloudy Bay and think that’s worth a look too.
