Tips from locals
One of the best, underrated hikes just outside of Portland. Skip the crowds at Multnomah Falls and catch a view of Mt. Hood on this several mile hike to a magical woodland wall of waterfall
The hike is a loop with a river crossing, stunning views of Mt Hood and a nice waterfall in the middle. Its very popular in the summer and requires a parking pass that can be picked up in Zigzag OR before heading up to the trailhead.

Great hike but you will need to cross the river by foot to get to the falls. The foot bridge washed out and is not expected to be replaced.
