BEING AT ADEGA SÃO NICOLAU, ORDER GOOD GRILLED OCTOPUS, GRILLED PRAWNS OR GRILLED SARDINE. THE COSY ATMOSPHERE OF THIS SPOT MAKES CUSTOMERS FEEL RELAXED AND HAVE A NICE TIME. THE COOL STAFF SHOWS A HIGH LEVEL OF HOSPITALITY AT THIS RESTAURANT

“The Taberna dos Mercadores in the Ribeira is owned by the same family as the nearby Adega São Nicolau. Traditional and regional dishes dominate the menu: prawn açorda bread soup, rojões diced pork and even an unmissable arouquesa meat pot. For special days – and by special order only – they make cod tongue rice and roast kid goat, prepared with ingredients that proprietor António Coelho sources from his home town of Resende (sort of ‘return to Resende’). “In terms of environment, the Cantinho do Avillez in Porto is also a friendly, welcoming and relaxed space. How could it not be, quality is a priority. As in the Cantinho de Lisboa, the cuisine is inspiring with influences of travel.
