Tips from locals
Fantastic historic restaurant within walking distance of the cottage. The dining is more formal, but the pub is a great cozy informal dining place.
There is a casual Pub area , It’s great for dinner & cocktails. Food is great, friendly staff.
Built in 1634, Barker Tavern is a fantastic place to go for dinner. The pub is cozy with a few tvs. The dining room is a little more formal. Excellent seafood, steaks and Greek food. Try the baked stuffed lobster, Oysters Rockefeller, spanakopita, lobster bisque and save room for the bread pudding…
The swordfish here is amazing! Beautiful, historic venue. A bit pricey but worth it. They also have a pub which is wonderful and you can get smaller portions of meals in there.
