Highest point in Spain! You can take the scenic cable car to the top, or hike and stay overnight for the sunrise! it's much colder up there, take suitable clothing!

El Teide Volcano is the highest peak in Spain with its 3718 meters, and El Teide is part of the Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can not lose this!

Great experience in the morning: Hiked up all the way to the top of Mount Teide, Spain's tallest peak (3,718 m / 12,220 ft) on the Canary Island of Tenerife. You must visit Teide's National Park during your stay... My grandad use to say that the walk in the moon was recorded there - so imagine how unique it is. There is a telepheric that brings you to the top of the volcano...
