Tips from locals
The original site of the Woodstock music festival, the venue now offers art, museums, artisans and galleries. A must see!
[BETHEL-approx. 15 min drive] The site & museum of the Woodstock Music Festival. Very well-done and beautiful grounds. Check out a summer concert on the lawn!
A great place to see a concert and feel the energy of where the original Woodstock concert was held.
Home of Woodstock 1969. Summer concerts continue to take place at the modern amphitheater, and there is a museum on site as well.

Our programming includes new releases, local film festivals, nostalgic throwback screenings and live music events. Check our schedule page for upcoming events!"”

“This is the place for canoe, kyack, raft rental. Many start/stop points along the river. This is the main one (another in Callicoon). They pick you up at your stop point and bring you back to your start point and vehicle. The location is beuatiful with Skinners Falls, swimming and sunbathing on the rocks is popular. (close to Milanville General store)”
