Tips from locals
Florida is a very flat state. There is an interesting history about why the gardens are there and why they are sunken.
4 acres of botanical gardens in the middle of the city. Walk around for as long as you'd like and get lost in the beautiful landscape. There's even a talking parakeet!
If you love Gardens...this is a plus! one of the oldest gardens in Saint Pete...only about 5-10 mins from our rental place

Art Gallery
“moreanartscenter.org I recommend a tour of Chihuly”s Collection, the various periods or styles over several decades. Gorgeous installations with lighting that sets off the colors. Don’t miss the film, as it gives insight as to how the sculptures are a result of teamwork, almost a choreographed dance with molten glass and 2000 degree F furnaces. Admission included a live glass blowing demonstration at the Morean Arts Center.”
