Expansive gardens with a cafe and toilets on site, including an area of old abbey ruins which are great for pictures too.

Les Nes Abbey is a beautiful old ruins in front of a large woods which you can explore. There is also a sandpit for children (and adults) to dig for prehistoric sharks teeth. It also has a cafe and community centre where they host yoga in on Saturday and Sunday mornings for £5

The beautiful and fascinating ruins of a 12th century abbey. There are also attractive gardens and a great view of the London skyline from the hill behind the ruins, and the surrounding ancient woodland is an enchanting display of nature. There is also a small visitor centre and café.

The peaceful greenery of the ancient woodland is a stark contrast to the surrounding city, and is filled with many natural treasures, including beautiful blankets of bluebells in spring, butterflies and purple heather in summer, woodpeckers, foxes and more! The woodland surrounds a park and garden with the fascinating ruins of Lesnes Abbey and a great view over the London skyline. There are many paths and these connect to the Green Chain walk across the extensive green areas of south-east London.
