This one is on our list to visit and have an overnight stay. There are grown men and women in this city who freeze solid when you mention "The Myrtles" and they refuse to even set foot there... seriously, they afraid!!!

If you’re looking for plantations, St. Francisville is where you want to go. Be sure to check out Rosedown and The Myrtles plantations. They each offer tours at very reasonable prices, and their gardens are gorgeous. These are only a couple of the plantations St. Francisville has to offer.

Called the most haunted house in America, this beautiful plantation home decorated with an ornate wrought iron façade and set among lush gardens is a stop no one should miss.

“Calling all seafood lovers! This restaurant has some killer seafood, a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. You can also check out “the little Francis”, which is a small BBQ joint next door owned by the same folks, that also has some ridiculously yummy food. ”
