Did you know that the National Theater has been a staple of Richmond since the 1920s? It was converted to a cinema-only theater in 1968, and eventually closed in the early 1980s. In 2003, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places — and finally, in 2008, it was restored and opened as a concert venue. Location: 708 E Broad St
