Tips from locals
Chada is a bit pricey but very good quality and tasty Thai food. One of the members of staff also speaks very good Japanese as well as English.
Great Thai place, standard menu with all the usuals, expansive fish menu. Food is quick, good size, cheap for London and very tasty.

“Cartel in Battersea is a tequila and taqueria bar that celebrates the best flavours that Mexico has to offer. The venue's kitchen is busy plating up hand-pressed tacos that hit the spot - think pulled chicken cooked in Mezcal and slow-cooked beef brisket served with chorizo and radish. But in truth, it's the menu of tequila and Mezcal infused cocktails that's really caught our eye. This bar in Battersea is certain to become a favourite spot for the locals in no time.”

“Holy Cow, to go out on a limb, might be Battersea’s best restaurant. The food is spicy and authentic considered, miles and miles away from any middling mediocrity (and indeed, central London.) The parbat lamb is thick with courgettes and garlic, aromatic and sensuous; the murg dhansak properly fragrant and tangy; the biryanis taste like the ones found just north of Delhi. Holy Cow does Mughlai dining, the dishes of mediaeval India: when people talk of food being ‘worth the calories’, they mean — if you can add reason to such an irksome phrase — this. Exactly this.”
