Historic pub in the seafront at Viking Bay. If it’s sunny, order your drinks to takeaway and sit on the harbour pier. Or if the weather’s rubbish, sit in the cosy bar. There’s also a seafood restaurant upstairs.

This place is in Broadstairs just along the seafront from Margate (about a 2 hour walk). This is quite a traditional restaurant, slightly on the stuffy side, but the seafood is incredible. There's also a wonderful view of the Broadstairs beach.

A traditional seaside pub with a fireplace, pool table and good local ales. A good seafood restaurant upstairs.
