This is a real Hawaiian Heiau. It is a sacred spot of worship for the ancient Hawaiian people. Very beautiful and worth a visit.
Really a hidden gem, check out the largest Hawaiian Sanctuary on the Windward side of Oahu.
This is a very special place. Please don't walk on the hei'au, the stones are sacred. You can walk down below through the lo'i patches and tropical gardens, there is a great view of Kawainui Marsh and it's super peaceful here.
Nearby cultural site offers insight into the geological changes of the Kailua area as well as the cultural and historical importance of this land to ancient Hawaiians.

Hawaiian Heiau built in one night by passing ocean washed stones from person to person, never touching the ground. Great Healing Heiau with a vortex between the trees in the front of it
