About this place
La Grande Bibliothèque est le lieu principal de diffusion de Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ). Son mandat est de servir de bibliothèque centrale aux Montréalais et de bibliothèque ressource à l’ensemble du Québec. Elle a ouvert ses portes au public le 30 avril 2005.

Big Library, nice to browse the books on site but to borrow you will need a library card which is not available for non-residents. Closed on Mondays.
For rainy days…Really interesting architecturally. You can stop at the magazine floor and just spend hours there.
