Botany Aquatic Centre is a council run complex with 3 open air pools– 50m, 20m, toddlers (not open during winter). Entry is about $6 for adults. It has BBQs, grassy areas, café and take away food, and a big slide. It’s a great place for a few hours, especially with kids. There’s a really lovely café about 20 mins walk from there called Botanix.

The Botany Aquatic Centre (3 hectares) has a 50m Olympic Pool, a 22m learners pool, a shaded + fenced toddlers pool, 2 water slides, a café and an outdoor area + BBQs with picnic tables & chairs.
