About this place
After a period of continual use for 46 years, the New National Gallery designed by Mies van der Rohe now requires several years of renovation and was closed in January 2015. The British architect David Chipperfield was entrusted with this task after his brilliant work on restoring the Neues Museum.

My favourite museum in Berlin. Unfortunately they're closed at the moment and will only re-open in a year or two, but the architecture alone is a reason to visit!
