On the outskirts of the hipster-packed Northern Quarter, you can find a little bit of Paris in the shape of family-run restaurant 63 Degrees. The Moreaus have left the glamour of their home city to bring a taste of the French capital to Manchester.

Lovely French restaurant. Top quality food and great steak. Also 2 minutes away from the flat!

One of Manchester's best hidden gems, impeccable French cuisine from a family run restaurant. Pricey but worth every penny :-)

A taste of Paris brought to you by the Moreau family based in Manchester's Northern Quarter. 63° is a unique cooking technique.

“There are many reasons why The Quays should be at the top of your 'must see' list when you're in Manchester and Salford. This stunning waterfront destination has grown out of the once derelict docklands of the Salford and Trafford Quays area, transformed from desolate wasteland into a place where some of the country's most iconic buildings (both The Lowry and Imperial War Museum North are RIBA award winners) stand with their neighbours to provide a place where culture, sport, shopping and a lot more come together. And they're all within walking distance of each other.”

“French style food served in a bohemian atmosphere. The quality of the food is high. The frogs legs starter is a surprise item for Chorlton and is even more surprisingly very tasty! A very popular restaurant and booking is advised.”

“This nature reserve can be accessed from the bottom of Beech Road, just opposite the Bowling Green pub. Lovely riverside walk which branches out for miles in either direction along the River Mersey. Be sure to visit Jackson's Boat pub (bicycle hire also available from near here) for refreshments, or Sale Water Park (5 - 10 minutes further walk).”

“Fine dining in a casual style. Small plates to share, with onsite bakery. Excellent cooking and wine list. A bit pricier than other local places but that's partly because the co-owner is a well-known chef! ”
