Il Faro della Vittoria di Trieste, inaugurato nel 1927, su progetto dell'architetto A. Berlam, fu costruito sui resti di un bastione dell'antico forte austriaco, risalente alla metà dell'Ottocento.Il Faro della Vittoria, oltre alla sua funzione di guida alla navigazione notturna nel Golfo di Trieste, è un monumento commemorativo dedicato ai marinai caduti durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale.
