This is a popular site to launch your kite or windsurfer. You can also find a number of places to walk around, go for a jog, or grab a refreshment and enjoy the view.

Ya gotta go over to Hood River’s waterfront park and event site. It’s the major launch site for the wind surfers, kite boarders and SUPs. There are some good places to eat along there (I like Solstice Pizza and Pfriem Brewery), and a small beach for swimmers.
