Come enjoy the authentic flavors of Mexico at Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, located southern part of town. Decor is full of Genuine Mexican tiles and original oil paints. This is the place to go for stiff margaritas. Happy Hour (in Cantina only) lasts from 3-7 pm and includes 3 tacos for $5…

This place has been around since 1981. Considering how quickly restaurants come and go here, its longevity speaks volumes. This has been a favorite with locals and tourists for years. Family friendly, great food, great happy hour.

A favorite local Mexican restaurant with a large bar area and great happy-hours! Great for larger parties and families. (Their wings are apparently a great off-menu item!)

“Perhaps one of the most alluring aspects of the Mountain Top Children’s Museum is that parents can drop their kids off for the evening without worrying a bit. Every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday night, the museum runs “Kids Night Out,” when parents can leave their kids to explore every nook and cranny of the museum “parent-free” Of course, meanwhile, parents can have their own night out, too. Besides that, the museum has all kinds of exhibits that teach them about the geology of the surrounding Rocky Mountains, exciting engineering-for-kids programs, and several other activities that make learning fun.”

“Train lovers will delight in Engine No 9, one of the few remaining narrow gauge locomotives that once braved the treacherous mountain passes. Located near the original track into Breckenridge from Boreas Pass, the park also has a huge rotary snowplow used to clear snowdrifts from the tracks, a replica caboose and a new train-themed playground.”
