This is both a hiking trail and a nature / bird watching haven. Beautiful, easy hike to the Columbia through lakes and grassy marshes. Not overly crowded. Gravel pathway - have seen bald eagles, water fowl, hawks, beavers and the occasional nutria!
We LOVE this place. Great for all levels of hikers, this is a long flat trail that takes you through beautiful habitats of the PNW's most beautiful wildlife. Our list of spotted animals includes owls, eagles, beavers, frogs, hares, hawks, and deer.
Entry to the Columbia Gorge. Gorgeous walks along the Columbia river, many different migrating birds.
This place is a bird sanctuary. Find Eagles, Cranes, Blue Herons, and much much more.
