The Museum of Edinburgh is the City’s treasure box - a maze of historic rooms crammed full of iconic objects from the Capital’s past. Find out about the history of Edinburgh from the earliest times to the present day. Discover more about the city, its people, crafts and trades and the beautiful objects they created. Visit the courtyard behind Huntly House. It now has the same opening hours as the Museum of Edinburgh, winter weather permitting, all year round. Family Activity Area They also have a fun interactive Learning Space, where there are crafts for you to explore, detective trails, replica objects and a storytelling corner in the heart of the museum. Have fun exploring the colourful galleries and learn how the people of Edinburgh have lived over the years. The good news is it's free, but donations are encouraged. No need to book, just pop in.
