If you spending a few days in Halifax do not hesitate to visit Lunenburg. Beautiful architecture gives you a feeling of another world. There is a number of restaurants socializing on Lobsters. So plan your visit to try one of them. Tip: to take the incredible image (attached to the section), drive to the Lunenburg golf club that is located on the opposite side of downtown marine.

Spend a day at Lunenberg soaking up the beauty the town has to offer. Ensure that you go for a stroll on the waterfront and then drive upto the golf course nearby to see the majestic view of the colourful town.

This UNESCO world heritage site is about an hour’s drive from the Flat. Home port of the Bluenose schooner. The town has a lovely waterfront, local independent shops and great restaurants featuring local scallops, clams and lobster rolls.
