Tips from locals
In Belgravia. The food is amazing both to eat and just to look at! Drop in for lunch or take away (and take to Hyde Park for lunch). My favourite place to have lunch in London
Chic deli/takeaway with communal table, for flavours from around North Africa and the Middle East.
This is so convenient, the food (can take away too) is delicious and perfect for a picnic in the park!

“This French establishment is the hidden gem in Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant empire. Having moved more than once, it now sits on a quiet street and there are no fireworks in the décor. But the new chef, Neil Snowball, is putting fizz into the menu with a cooking style he developed at the Fat Duck. Better still, his mentor is Ramsay’s star chef, Clare Smyth. The word isn’t out yet on just how good the food at Petrus has become, with dishes such as Anjou pigeon with smoked onion purée, glazed turnips, pigeon pie, and ginger jus. ”

“*Tomtom on Elizabeth Street fills that odd niche of artisan bean-grower, coffee roasters and cigar merchants. You can take over one of the outside tables and order anything from coffee and eggs to a beer and a Cuban Havana from the nearby cigar shop.”
