Lions and tigers and bears oh my! A 45 minute drive (10 minutes out of Chico), and an amazing place! A place very near and dear to my heart as I volunteered there for two years.

Yes, there are some crazy wild animals nearby - bears, lions, etc. I have never been there but I have heard great things about it.

Little ones that run around are not a good idea!!! As the big cats can get loud and yell out if they see prey like that however, children who are manageable or in car seats are welcome.
