The head chef at Tasca Kome is also the owner. Yuko Yamamoto cooks traditional dishes of her native Osaka in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. The ingredients she uses are mostly local and organic. Food at Kome is cooked with love.

I am half Japanese and I can recommend this Japanese restaurant at Baixa. It is runned by Japanese owners. You can eat Sushi and other popular Japanese foods. The service is ok but the food is very good.

Restaurant
“ French chef David Eyguesier honed his skills at Pois Café, then his own underground restaurant at home before opening this sorely needed Alfama gem whose name loosely translates as 'The Truants' (he 'skipped' culinary school!). His daily-changing, market-fresh set menus delight under a spiderweb of modern lighting, beautiful geometric cabinetry and an open kitchen. No microwave. No freezer!”
