Why locals recommend it

For a nicer experience, this is my spot; it’s gorgeous and the food is amazing. There's a beautiful bar with moody lighting and all sorts of marble and gold, and the main dining room has this bright orange, '70s accent leather. The light before the sun goes down is wonderful in here. Right when they open for dinner at 5pm, grab a seat at the bar, where the light is always gorgeous.

Redbird is a tucked away cute restaurant in Downtown LA. It's got modern American delights on their menu, with an impressive selection of drinks and cocktails with their full bar. The decor hearkens an art deco style with a contemporary touch.

$$$$ Redbird is one of the best restaurants I've tried downtown LA. Excellent for celebrations or anniversaries. Beautifully decorated and has a dress code. Check out Yelp for more photos of this gorgeous restaurant.
