Thanks to private funding, this 1920s beauty recently re-opened...you won't believe the tile work on the ceilings! The landscape around it is just supreme! Don't miss it!

Small but beautiful Belle Epoque era aquarium. Free entry and adjacent to the conservatory.

Was the oldest continually operating aquarium in American when it closed in 2005. Now re-opened, it is truly an historic jewel not to be missed.

This aquarium, built by the famous architects George Mason and Albert Kahn, operated continually for 100 years until 2005. Since it reopened in 2012, it has been run entirely by volunteers. The aquarium, covered (inside) entirely by greenish tile, is intended to give visitors an underwater feeling. It's truly historic and unique.
