Founded in 1969, the Cali Zoo it is located within the municipal forest and on the banks of the Cali River. It is widely considered one of the top 5 best Zoos in Latin America. Open daily 9AM – 4:30PM
The zoo has been awarded best zoo of souht America several times. It is a special place in the middle of nature and cross by Cali river.
On the banks of the Cali River and amidst beautiful vegetation is one of the best zoos in all of Latin America. It is a must if you enjoy a nice walk with fauna and flora that only a country as diverse as Colombia can offer.
It has one of the prettiest settings I have ever seen. Animals are well cared for and it simply is delightful. Try to go early because the heat can be something to write home about.
The local zoo is pretty good. It's actually one of the best in South America. If you like wildlife, and watching these guys doing what they do in the discovery channel, it's a must visit for you, then.
