Pasadena is less than an hour away, home of the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center, the Rose Bowl jogging track and stadium, the Norton Simon Museum, countless restaurants, shopping malls, and public gardens. Its beautiful and historical city hall is also worth visiting. Pasadena is known for hosting the Rose Bowl football game, and the Tournament of Roses Parade. Surrounded by mountains and palm trees, take a swim at the outdoor aquatic center, with the best jacuzzi in all of Los Angeles.

Visit the Rose Bowl for the Flea Market once a month on the first Tuesday. Visit old town Pasadena to walk around to all the shops and restaurants!

Old Town Pasadena is just an 8-minute drive down the hill from our AirBnB. There are hundreds of shops, attractions and places to eat. It is the oldest area of Los Angeles, so there are many beautiful historical buildings, including City Hall. It is much bigger than Sierra Madre, which we highly recommend as well. Sierra Madre is a quaint small mountain town and Pasadena is a medium sized city, but both have many outdoor cafes and places to eat.
