Go here for brunch, lunch or dinner. Union plates and amazing array of dishes. Whether your in the mood for a traditional burger or steak tartare, Union has got you covered. Be warned, many others are also aware of how great Union is, so you should expect to wait for a table. A personal recommendation for food would be the Swiss Train Ride - a combination of French ham, Swiss cheese, a fried egg, bechamel atop a bed of greens

The pizzas here are thin crust, and full of fresh, high quality toppings! Service is great and ambiance is the hip, cozy type you would expect for a dinner spot in the Ozzy. This place gets busy and does not take resos so come early or be prepared to wait. Price is also relatively high compared to other gourmet pizzerias ($18 for a salami pizza ), but not unaffordable. I'd

Best tacos in Toronto - perhaps the world. Try the guac and chips, followed by fish tacos and whatever sounds good to you; it's all excellent. This place is small, attracts a young & hip crowd, has loud music & long waits on the weekends. Well worth the wait if you are a taco-lover.

What was once the tallest freestanding structure in the world, is now 3rd tallest in the world! You can either see it from afar, or walk right up to the base of it. There are some observatory floors you can go up to at the top, and even a rotating restaurant up there! Try to go when the sun is out and the sky is clear, so you can get the best view of the City! If you have the guts, and aren't really afraid of heights, try the 'Edge Walk' where you pay to walk along the edge (of course harnessed for safety).

You can see the eclectric, earthy side of Toronto here with fresh fruit and veggie markets, funky shops, no shortage of clothing, trinkets and incense from India, Africa, Nepal and more. Music record shops, vintage clothing shops, great mexican and latin restaurants, and tons of bars to choose from. You can also catch great live music, bars with a dance floor, and awesome art installations on the street. They have pedestrian sundays where no cars are allowed to drive there, so you can zigzag across the streets from one store to another and not be worried about getting hit by a car! You can certainly catch DJ's spinning here, or live music!

The Distillery District is a commercial and residential district in Toronto. Located east of downtown, it contains numerous cafés, restaurants, and shops housed within heritage buildings of the former Gooderham and Worts Distillery. The 13 acres (5.3 ha) district comprises more than forty heritage buildings and ten streets, and is the largest collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture in North America. The district was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988. It is a really cool area with small shops and restos. All pedestrian walk ways. Feels like the piazza of a small western european town when you walk around the area.
