I love Deep Cove - rent a kayak, have a coffee, hike up to the viewpoint on the Baden Powell Trail, go to the theatre, have dinner overlooking Indian Arm.

The closet "old style" movie theatre to home, about a 15-minute walk. They do show first-run films, but this is NOT a Cineplex or SilverCity theatre, which is great!

Good repertory cinema with new films every few days. General play art house films, but they also show blockbusters at certain times.
