Ásinn-Brennistaðir 4 is 90m2 house for a group of up to 7 people +crib (year 2025). The house is located in untoucted nature next to a field on Brennistaðir farm, about 20 km from Egilsstaðir in the direction to Borgarfjörður eystri. The farm is sheep farm. We live about 400 m distance from Ásinn. Fully equipped kitchen, small sitting room, spacious bathroom (washing machine and dryer), 4 bedrooms. Good looking view, cairns, bird live, streams, family-friendly environment in peaceful nature.

Charming house in the countryside only 3,5 km from the village of Egilsstaðir. The house is well situated for those who want to visit the small and beautiful fjords in east Iceland. The house is equpped with geothermal heating system and is warm and nice in cold weather . It has 2000 liter hot tub ,with internal led lights, located on the terrace. 3 bedrooms ( 2x queen size + 1 single) nice bathroom with shower. Nice view to the town of Egilsstaðir and to mt.Snæfell. Báran, Studio by the sea

By the sea and scrapyard of Seyðisfjörður we offer our newly renovated studio space with a great view over the fjord, but still just a 8 min walk to the town center. It offers a king size bed and a single lounge bed with a pure icelandic wool mattress in the living area for a third person if needed. It is simple, lovely and unique. Note that we live in the other part of the house so even though the studio is private with private entrance a family lives in the other part of it.

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.
