“We stayed at the cottage for 2 nights. It was very clean and well maintained. Perfect for a quiet family getaway. The host was very generous, helpful and friendly too. A perfect way to spend time with family just a short drive north of Toronto!! Beautifully relaxed at hot tub, bonfire and barbecue!!! Extra fun water activities - swimming, board paddling and double boat paddling. Georgian Bay is just amazingly breath-taking and beautiful. No seaweeds. Lots of stars to look at during summer nights. Love this place!! Must-see!”
Cottage to Thunder Beach 7 minute walk. Cottage to Marks Point private beach 10 minutes by car The cottage is NOT waterfront. It is located on one hundred acres of private property and a seven minute walk to Thunder Beach. Also, guests have use of our private 2 acre WATERFRONT property and beach at Marks Point, a ten minute drive from the cottage. Marks Point has a beautiful beach and crystal clear water incredible for swimming! Thunder Beach is a stunning sand beach!

The cottage is bigger than it looks with lots of space for activities, lounging, cooking, etc. there’s so much land where there was a cool fire pit to use. Me and my husband even worked out and jogged around the back yard because there was so much space! The kitchen is fully equipped and Patrick was so helpful! The private beach is amazing and it is truly completely private. Thunder beach is also an amazing public beach. The whole thunder beach is public although it seems it’s private because the other cottages are so close. I will recommend however to bring laundry detergent with you if you plan on doing laundry. We will def be coming back to Patrick’s with more family. Possibly even renting the other cottage Patrick owns that’s bigger!”

What guests are saying:“Great spot, hands down great value. It was 6 of us at the cottage, and everything was very clean with nice touches throughout. Good policies in place during COVID, which were simple to follow, not too overwhelming. I would recommend looking ahead for boat or canoe rentals, as we did feel we were missing something to do in the water, even though we spent all day in it, temperature was great for mid June! Bring extra floaters and stuff to hang around in the water. The cottage itself was very comfortable for all of us. Kitchen is fully equipped. We were able to cook home made meals all weekend long. We absolutely recommend it for a nice escape from the City. Thank you for hosting us Candice!”
