Vacation rentals in Ton Thong Chai

We had a really beautiful time staying here, Dtor and Pete have created something quite magical nestled within the rice fields and mountains. It’s the perfect retreat where you feel somewhere totally different. Dtor and Pete were so accommodating and we loved learning about the local cotton production and spending time by the Koi pond and enjoying the land. There are lots of nice restaurants and cute places nearby to visit. I would absolutely recommend this place for a family holiday, next time we’re going to bring everyone! This was definitely one of my favourite experiences on Airbnb and I’m already looking forward to our next visit.

This place is perfect for a big family with kids. The place was big enough for the kids to run around and the rooms were comfy. Air conditioning was great as well which was important for Chiangmai’s hot weather. A huge shout out to Oar for helping us with multiple requests for massage. She was always responsive and the welcome dinner was great as well. Our family of 10 all enjoyed the stay there!

This accommodation was nothing but brilliant. We got there quite early and was able to go straight into the house. The house was clean, smelt fresh and felt homely. The amenities were great, you get so much space, bed was very comfortable, air con was great etc. The outside area and gardens were well kept and clean. The host was incredible, she was very friendly, hospitable and really made us feel welcome. The price of the accommodation is great value, and the fact she provides bikes, fresh water, coconuts etc is just a bonus. This was easily our favourite place we stayed in Thailand, couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you so much☺️

We cannot say enough about how generous and kind Wat & Boom are. They did so much for us, including bringing us eggs, farm produce, and breakfast treats, spending hours teaching our teenagers to harvest and prepare sugarcane juice and fresh coconut, showing us around their farm, and taking one of us to the hospital after a (self-inflicted) injury. The farm is beautiful and peaceful - we enjoyed this haven in nature as a travel break. We rode the provided bikes to the temple, village shops & restaurants, a cute coffee shop and around the area. We can also highly recommend the "Banthi Tour" with Mr P. (search on Tripadvisior) for a full day village experience about 15 minutes away. Staying at the farm feels a bit like glamping, with the downstairs patio, kitchen and 2 bathrooms open to the outside, and a comfortable bedroom upstairs with fans and good mosquito protection. Excellent experience. House comes with a cleaner and you get beers and water frequently refilled for free. Also if you want a tour they can arrange it for you with good vans and drivers. As mentioned by others it is about 30 minutes away from Chiang Mai Old Town, but you can get there with Grab Taxi’s. Also I was expecting a more jungle like experience but the villa is next to a busy road with a lot of noise in the morning. You can hear planes landing also. Finalky, the house smells damp and can use a little upgrade / attention to detail. However, it was a really big lovely place, we have had great advise and there is a very nice local place called Namthoeng Cafe nearby. In the afternoon we loved to just hang out near the pool, all quiet. So yes it’s a five star experience!

A house with beautiful Thai Lanna character and yet with modern amenities! A comfortable and quiet setting with nice places to relax. A recommended place to stay!

It was a very wonderful stay, a comfortable house, a very responsive and friendly host, and a very quiet neighborhood. Of course, I hope to repeat the experience if I have the opportunity

The house is newly renovated, very clean, and conveniently located just two parking spaces.The neighborhood is quiet, and the host communicates with us!

Nice place in a great area for walking to market, restaurants and bars. It’s lovely to be right on the river. Very authentic place and had a nice common area with coffee and fruit everyday. The people are so friendly and helpful. Lots of fun little kitties to play with too!
