This is a great area for all of your outdoor adventures from fishing, kayaking and water sports to hunting, hiking and outdoor recreation. You have restaurants and groceries as close as two miles down the road where you'll find the best huckleberry shakes or you can travel further to Sandpoint, Idaho which is less than two hours away and visit the shops.

Ponderosa Cabin

Come expecting to relax at our peaceful and convenient getaway behind town, but within minutes of the grocery stores or restaurants in Thompson Falls. You can hear the train in the distance, or occasional activity with vehicles coming or going from our shop near the cabin, but otherwise should be mostly undisturbed. For coffee lovers, we have a fresh roasted, organic selection for the kurig machine. We have one bedroom, and also the loft which has the 2nd queen bed. Enjoy your stay!

Only a few paces from streams and the Clark Fork River, the incredible views of the mountains, water and wildlife in the area will leave you awe-struck. Enjoy several nearby fishing spots, kayak the Clark Fork River or swim at Pilgrim Park, which is about 50 yards from our motel.
