Unfortunately I had to leave my stay sooner than expected, due to a family emergency at home but this place was a great place to stay

Aziz was extremely helpful and came to meet us in the Medina as we were trying to find the guest house. He was very kind, accommodating and helpful in providing information on restaurants, travelling in Tunisia etc. would highly recommend.

Tout y est fait pour que l’on se sente à l’aise. C’est beau, c’est propre, accueillant et chaleureux. La suite et la salle de bains étaient très belles, le ménage impeccable et le petit-déjeuner très bon. La maison, datant du siècle dernier est pleine d’originalité et très bien entretenue avec un concept different des hôtels classiques. Un grand merci aux hôtes qui n’ont fait que répondre positivement à mes requêtes.

It's a great little place - basic but affordable, clean, and has everything you need. The people running it are friendly and helpful.

Everything was lovely, the room was bigger than expected. I also really liked how friendly the host was when I checked in at reception. All the rooms are upstairs in a courtyard surrounding an active restaurant/bar. It's very lively and fun. The restaurant food is good too. Once they close at 11pm, everything becomes very quiet for a peaceful night's rest. The hotel is also located very conveniently to walk everywhere within the medina and center of Houmt Souk. I'd visit again!

J'ai passé une nuit très agréable dans l'hôtel familial d'Hachem ! Le logement est super bien et permet une immersion dans la culture tunisienne 🙂. De plus, Hicham et sa famille sont super gentils et font tout pour assurer le confort du voyageur. Je recommande fortement !

Throughout the communication, everything was set to a high standards, coming from the United states to find the same level of service and even better, everyone was welcoming and our host made sure everything was at the tip of our fingers, the place was awesome, and the service was very great.. This place will definitely be on my list for when I come back next year for vacation. Thank you.

Merci à Skander d'avoir répondu à toutes nos questions, en amont, en nous rassurant concernant l'organisation de notre semaine. Il ne faut pas oublier tout le personnel qui était aux petits soins et toujours là pour rendre service. Et surtout, les parents de Skander, particulièrement le papa, Mr Hechmi Megdiche, qui s'inquiétait tout les jours, lors du petit déjeuner, pour savoir si tout allait bien et si nous n'avions besoin de rien. Nous commencions notre journée par un petit déjeuner royal, où il y avait une variété de choses proposées. Nous ne manquerons pas d'en parler autour de nous car le DONIA est un petit bijou où il fait bon vivre, où on se sent comme à la maison, et proche de la gare qui nous permet d'aller facilement à Tunis. Bravo et merci encore ♥♥
