“Carol’s place is an absolute gem. It has two queen size beds that are lofted. I felt like a kid in a tree fort the entire stay. During the day I hit golf balls into the country spread, while at night sat out on one of the patio chairs and listened to the crickets and frogs under a full peaceful moon. It was heaven away from the hustle and bustle of the city lights. I recommend this place to absolutely everyone that needs to escape to some solace. Thank you Carol.”

“Jolie is the best at communicating and truly cares about her guests and their needs & comfort. This is our third time staying with her and we plan to stay there anytime our plans take us near Lincoln in the future. Everything is super organized and clean and the bed & pillows are extremely comfortable. I really enjoy the keyless entry and the privacy we have. I highly recommend Jolie's Airbnb!”
The Home Place was created by 3 siblings & their families in homage to their parents. After WWII, Glenn & Mary returned to the farm that has been in the family nearly 100 yrs. You will see evidence of Mary's artistic & quilting talents & Glenn's woodworking skills as well as a tribute to his WWII experience as a Marine pilot. The Home Place is conveniently located 20 mins east of Lincoln on Hwy 34 ("O" St.) or 45 mins SW of Omaha.
“We stopped at Home Place on our way to Utah, so glad that we didn't stay in the city. This place is just beautiful, takes you back in time. Nancy is quick to respond and very accommodating, she had the crib up for our little one, very kind. This place is perfect for stargazing! We will definitely come back if we are in the area.”
